|Catering Spotlight|: Biscuits and Berries Catering Company

We are so lucky to have such an amazing list of preferred caterers our clients can choose from.  We thought highlighting each one every month for the rest of the year would be a great way for you to get to know them better!

They might be the newest addition to our preferred catering list, but it did not take long for Biscuits and Berries Catering Company to impress us in a big way.  We are consistently blown away by their quality, creativity, and friendly staff.

We sat down with Robin Berhost, the Director of Sales at Biscuits and Berries Catering Company, to find out more about her and the business:

Tell us a little bit about Biscuits and Berries.

Biscuits and Berries masterfully captures the heart of each event through the artful creation of a perfectly paired menu.  Established in 1991 in Golden, Colorado; Owner Gwen Neely has devoted her passion, experience and vision to the hospitality industry.  Biscuits and Berries is female-owned and has been in business in the metro area for over 25 years.  We are a company built on principles, offering our clients the best product and service for their dollar.

What are some of your favorite event trends right now?

Stations of cuisines from around the world.  Why settle on one favorite, when you can have ALL your favorites?

What has been your most memorable event?

Say Yes to the Dress-Prom.  Local teenage girls were allowed to select dresses, and accessories to wear to Prom. It was a promotion with the tv network TLC; and once fitted for their perfect dress, the girls modeled them on a runway in front of their friends.

What inspires you?

Mentoring up-and-coming industry professionals.  I am passionate about catering and events, and love to share my knowledge with others.

Non-profit events/gala’s are probably my 2nd favorite. I always walk away feeling like I contributed something small, but significant back to the community.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I am in the catering/event business! In my free time I SLEEP! 😊

Where is your favorite hang out spot in Boulder?

Pearl Street…of course! Food, cocktails, shopping and coffee all in one spot. It is the best!
